21 Bit About Us

One writer, a real account, and payout times we sat and waited for.

In short

This site covers 21 Bit for Australian players — payments, payout speed, minimum deposits and site reliability. It is written and checked by one named person, tested on a real self-funded account, and paid for by commercial links to the casino. Every page carries the date it was last verified.

Tom Harris

Casino Gaming Analyst · Independent Gaming Reviews

Tom has covered online gambling since 2016, the last six years of it focused on how money actually moves in and out of Australian-facing casinos. Before writing about the industry he spent four years in payments operations, which is where the interest in reconciliation, chargebacks and why a deposit descriptor never matches the brand came from.

He writes every page on this site. There is no editorial rota and no house byline — the point of one name is that there is one person accountable for the numbers.

How we test

Nothing on this site is copied from the casino's own help pages. The cashier's stated processing times and the times you actually experience are different numbers, and the gap between them is the only reason a page like this is worth writing.

A real account, funded with our own money. Registered normally, verified normally, no press account and no special treatment. If KYC takes two days for us, it takes two days.

Timestamps at both ends. We record when a payout was requested, when it was approved, and when the money actually landed. Those are three different moments and lumping them together is how "24-hour withdrawals" becomes a five-day wait.

More than once, on different days. A single fast payout proves nothing. We run each rail several times, including deliberately on a Friday evening, because that is when the queue is worst and readers deserve the honest range rather than the best case.

Dated, then re-checked monthly. Every measured figure is published with the month it was taken. Limits move, methods get withdrawn, and a payout time from last year is fiction.

Terms read in full, not skimmed. Wagering multipliers, maximum bet while a bonus is live, and the reverse-withdrawal setting are where the real cost sits, and none of them are in the marketing copy.

Where we cannot verify something ourselves, we say so rather than filling the gap. The licence numbers on the sister sites page are a deliberate example: we link the regulator's own register instead of republishing a number that may have lapsed since someone last copied it.

How this site makes money

Through commercial links. If you follow one to the casino, register and deposit, we are paid a commission. You pay nothing extra and your terms are identical to anyone arriving directly.

The obvious objection is that this buys favourable coverage. The defence is in the pages themselves: we point out that the deposit floor is A$20 while the withdrawal floor is A$50 and that this traps small balances; that bank transfers take three to five business days; that PayID is fast in only one direction; and that POLi is still listed while barely working. None of that is what an operator would write about itself.

What we will not do is publish a payout time we did not measure, invent a licence number, or dress a fixed commercial arrangement up as an independent ranking. If a page ever reads like it was written by the casino, it has failed.

Corrections

We get things wrong. Limits change without notice, a method disappears from the cashier, and sometimes we simply misread a clause. When that happens the page is corrected and the review date at the bottom is updated, so you can always see how recently a page was checked rather than guessing from the copyright line.

If a mistake was material — a number that could have changed what you decided to do — we say what was wrong rather than editing quietly. If you spot one before we do, email it in. Reader corrections have fixed at least four figures on this site in the past year.

If something here did not work for you

A fair question to ask a site that tells you a payout takes four hours when yours has taken three days. In order of what actually helps:

Check the date on the page first

The byline at the bottom of every page shows when it was last verified. If that date is a month old and the cashier now says something different, the cashier is right and we want to hear about it.

Rule out the usual suspects

Most payout delays trace back to unfinished verification or a live bonus. The withdrawal times page lists them in the order we see them.

Go to the casino's support, not to us

We have no access to your account and cannot see your balance, your documents or why a payment failed. Live chat can, and it is faster than anything we could do on your behalf.

Escalate to the regulator if support stalls

The licence named in the site's terms tells you which body handles complaints. That is a real escalation path and operators take it seriously.

Then tell us anyway

Even when we cannot fix it for you, your experience is data. Several timings on this site were revised because readers reported something slower than we had measured.

What readers tell us

"Sent you a note that the reload minimum had gone up to A$30 and it was corrected the same week. Didn't expect a reply, let alone a fix."

Craig, Wollongong · 15 August 2026

"The bit about A$20 in and A$50 out saved me a headache. No other site I read mentioned it."

Fiona, Hobart · 2 August 2026

"Your card payout estimate was optimistic for my bank — took four days, not two. Told you, and the page now says one to three with a note about smaller banks."

Hamish, Launceston · 24 July 2026

"Appreciated that you say up front you're paid for the links. Everyone is, almost nobody writes it down."

Nadia, Darwin · 11 July 2026

One thing we will always say: this is entertainment with a negative expected return, and it is designed to be. If a page here helps you get paid faster, good. If any of it has started to feel like a way to win money back, that is the moment to stop — Gambling Help Online is free, confidential and open 24 hours, or call 1800 858 858.

Frequently asked questions

Who writes the guides on this site?

One person. Tom Harris, a casino gaming analyst covering the Australian market, writes and fact-checks every page here. We deliberately do not rotate authors or publish under a house name — if a figure on this site is wrong, there is one person to hold responsible for it.

How do you test withdrawal times?

With a real, verified, self-funded account. We deposit, play, request a payout on each available rail and record the timestamps at both ends. Any figure quoted as a measured time comes from a payout we actually waited for, and we state the month it was measured.

Do you make money if I sign up?

Yes. Links to the casino are commercial and we are paid if you register and deposit. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change what we write — the pages here say plainly where the site is weak, including the A$20-in, A$50-out gap and the slow bank payouts.

How often is the information updated?

Payment limits and payout times are re-checked monthly, and each page carries the date it was last verified in the byline at the bottom. Anything about bonuses or terms is re-read whenever the operator changes them, which is more often than the monthly cycle.

What do you do when you get something wrong?

Fix it, and say so. Corrections are made on the page itself with the review date updated, and anything material enough to have changed a reader's decision gets a line explaining what was wrong. We do not quietly edit and move on.

How do I contact you?

Email tom@21bitcasinoonline-au.com. We read everything, including corrections and player reports about payouts — several of the timings on the withdrawal page came from readers. We cannot access your casino account or intervene in a dispute, though we can tell you who to escalate to.
